Do you run your home economy the way you expect to see the Federal Government run?

I hope so, because I can't believe I made a thread that has nothing to do with creation/spontaneous-generation, but somehow the debate got swung that way.
 
I agree with the last parts, but I disagree with the part that the rights are granted by the Constitution part. They aren't "granted" by the Constitution, the Constitution limits government, not grants rights to The People. It just reminRAB government of the key things that they can't do ... but still do anyway.
 
So far, no liberals here are willing to admit they want their home economy run like the fedgov.

This is why so many libtarRAB remain poor, downtrodden, feeling like a victim of "the man" and just generally angsty and pussified.

They rack up debt as soon as they're legally able. They don't just keep rolling debt, but actually compound their debt. Eventually, they go crying back to mommy and daddy for a bailout. Sad, sad, sad.
 
Um, no, I'm not. Our rights are granted naturally, the Constitution prohibits the government from infringing on those rights (not that it doesn't happen), not the other way around. It's not that difficult.
 
Yes, that is what we are saying. Money isn't the same thing to individuals and a national economy, nor is a national economy equivalent to a job.

IMO, in a proper society, ALL RIGHTS are reserved to The People, except those FEW we SPECIFICALLY and CLEARLY grant the government to have domain over.

This country has been going faster and faster down hill with the more and more frequent use of "catch all powers" that the government claims ... such as "Equal Protection" and ESPECIALLY "Commerce Clause".
