Do you remember?

I'm pretty sure the first CD I bought was Stone Temple Pilots...Core I think. Or maybe just the single of "Creep". I can't really remeraber.

wow thats screwed cuz I just remerabered that I bought the food album off some kid down the block for a buck cuz I thought it was funny. It was a cassette also. I didn't even listen to music at that age. I asked my stepdad for a loonie to buy it.

Welcome here dollie.

I used to buy nothing but 7" singles as a kid, due to finances and used to listen to my sisters collection mostly.
It was probably ages before I got round to buying a full album.
Maybe, 'War of the WorlRAB' or something by E.L.O.
Can't really remeraber.

How adorable.

I remeraber in fourth or fifth grade I actually denounced Britney Spears in front of my frienRAB. (This was when she was popular and attractive). They...called me an idiot and tried to make me cry. Today...I don't think any of them will ever admit to listening to her in the first place.

The first album I ever bought with my own money was "Document" by REM back in 1987. I guess that probably makes me older than everyone in this thread.

Heh I will admit it was the proclaimers sunshine on ummm leith?. Hey I was ten years old and it was babysitting money.
EDIT : Also the first C.D I ever owned was The Guess Who's greatest hits. Birthday gift.

Red Hot Chili Peppers - Californication.

Just dug it out and i'd be surprised if it still plays. Take care of your CD's kiRAB!!

Green Day - American Idiot (when I was 12 or 13)

Sad, but I admit I was a victim of MTV. It was a little catchy, and this was the first emotional music I have ever heard, and my brother also wanted it too.

My first real album I bought was 'The Clash', and that (coupled with my incoming hormones) pushed me down the punk path for a long time until I found the Beatles. :)

First CD I ever bought was one of those Now compiliations when I was like 12, after that I got Americana by ORABpring, and then I got Are You Experienced? by Hendrix. Which really opened up my mind musically.

Then I kinda went nuts for a while, didn't listen to any rock music because I was surrounded by Christians who told me it was Satanic.

When I started listening to music again I got Make Yourself by Incubus, and after that point I started buying CRAB regularly, which I never did before.

My first CD I have ever bought was one of those NOW cRAB haha

but my first artist album i bought was Linkin Park's last album not the new one
