The one thing you can count on with the Japanese brands is service after the sale. You can get parts, you can get service.
I know of 1 Kymco sales outlet in all of TN. (where I live). Some states do not even have that. Will Kymco be there after the sale for parts and service? Too soon to tell. But at least they are trying to get dealerships established, unlike the cheap Chinese imports that may cost $600-$1000 for a brand new unit, which is great, till it breaks down and you can't get a part to get it back running. Then it becomes an expensive throw away toy.
