Do you really want government health care? HEADLINE "Sticker Shock"?

Before answering source read the news just posted here is what all us mean spirited SOB's have been saying all along. The young who think now they will get free or reduced health care will be paying MORE and the old people will benefit the most if they can locate a doctor and a hospital that will take Medicare BUT 24 million people as late as 2019 will not have health care insurance due to being unable to pay for it and that is the true numbers uninsured RIGHT AT THIS TIME so what are we going to get for the TEN TRILLION DOLLARS congress wants to spend.
poor pathtic" tahabwa" you are so predictable. IT IS THE HEADLINE IN YAHOO NEWS christ on a crutch ignorance should not be flaunted. 35 to 50 million people not covered is what the Democrats have claimed for years. Please bingo educate yourself the scary part is that people like probably vote.
 
I am an Aussie and I say go for it, but I have private health insurance as well as Medicare, just in case I need elective surgery.
You might find this interesting. Recently private hospitals offered to take public patients, under Medicare. The private hospitals run things more efficiently...but we still have the public health system for outpatients and primary health care. It is a bit like best of both worlds I suppose.

The Medicare levy is only two tiered. 1.5% of taxable income if you earn under $100,000 pa or 2.5% if you earn over that AND don't have private health insurance.

Another benefit is the administrative costs is only 4% of the system, whereas America's private health care charges you something like 20% of the system for admin only....such a waste, and compounded by reports that insurance companies have high admin costs because they spend a lot of time rejecting claims. If I paid for health insurance only to get my claim rejected I would be mad.

On the base of socialism i shall advocate many of the poor and deserving people that we all require Government run health care center.The problem is that the Government can't afford it and also the capitalistic people are not in its favor.
