given the chance? One of the answerers to my previous question said he thought Bob Stoops would have done the same thing Brown did when he whined on national TV during the Texas / Texas A&M game
Apparently not. Yesterday in the OU press conference Bob Stoops was asked whether ESPN had approached him about doing an audio interview JUST LIKE MAC'S during the Texas / Texas A&M game. Stoops said YES, he had been asked to WHINE during the A&M game by ESPN. BUT HE TURNED THEM DOWN. And that was before the final decision by the BCS had come down. So Stoops didn't whine. The fans didn't whine by having signs in the stands trying to sway the voters, and we didn't even hire a plane to fly around the stadium in Austin.
Stoops just said basically -- We all accepted the rules for a tie breaker at the beginning of the year (MAC BROWN did too). And we will live by that decision no matter what that decision is.
