Do you really think Soccer could take over Aussie Sport more than AFL/League?

its highly doubtfull, soccer is the biggest played sport for the last 40 years, the A-League crowds are shocking except for Melbourne, G-Coast cant get 6000 to a match and they play in Summer, + plus we only care about the Socceroos in a big Game anyway
 
based on youth players .....soccer will take over

at least NRL anyway
on the eastcoast of australian NSW soccer has more children upto the ages of 18 playing it then NRL,RUGBY,NETBALL,BASKETTBAL,CRICKET (and there was something else) put together

so i guess the way stats are going yes soccer will take over... btw its very close to GAYFL
 
Not really.
NRL for 2 states and AFL for 4 states.
Soccer doesn't cut it as an enthralling game to watch.
Most of the Junior numbers disappear after Primary school.

I think when the under 16s of Today are adults it'll be huge. SO many people put there kids in to soccer. All of my friends play soccer, well a lot of them
