Do you put the plants and fish in a tank at the same time or is it better to wait?

I have a new 55 gallon tank that I am setting up with real plants. I have a few seeds in now, but I am going to be purchasing some plants this weekend. Any information would help!

if your tank already has water and fish then just add the live plants if not set it up first rocks plants water then fish

You should do what ever you want to do. There is no correct answer for this. Most plants when you buy them are already grown (I wouldn't plant seeds). Fish can eat your plants so adding it in before, at the same time, or after, has no real different effect!
