Do you prefer downloading over buying? Why

well thats great for you, but if i only want one song from an album, i'll download it, not go out and waste my money on the album, for i like a wide variety of music. if its a band i really like, then yeah i will buy the album, i actually just bought the arctic monkyes album this morning.

yeah, it is, but when you have as bad as a car cd player as i do, its not much fun:)

they didnt haul in anything for quite a while. (you can find that out in scar tissue) And if you cant spare 10 bucks to support you band regardless of the position there in, then you confuse the hell outa me.

I do download a few songs every now and then... but some people i respect too damn much... like i wouldnt want to steal from hendrix or slash... so ill usually only download if someone suggests a band to me and i wanna hear the stuff without spending all my monies :D

oh.. ill also steal if the whole cd sucks except one song.....

Dude are you serious.... read what you just said. And now your not arguing that.

edit: and i just gave a great example of how you DO need to support your and, at least in the beginning. and there is proof of that in a book written by the lead singer... So its not really a debatable fact

ps. anyone wana help me out here... i mean jese come on

Exactly.

If I buy a cd I'm buying because of what I get. The quality of the recording, the authenticity, the artwork that is authentic, the inside notes. There is no satisfaction in downloading other than being able to say you know the album. And for sure, with some banRAB thats all you really want. However some banRAB I'm happy to spend money on just because I'd be proud to actually own the album.

Stuff where the money goes, if you can justify spending $20 on an album and it's few tangible perks that you know you'll love, then it's worth it.

If I could, I would happily buy.
