Do you perfer 1st person or 3rd person books?

third, when i was a kid i used to play games and there would always be a narrator telling the story inside my head.

i read alot and was very alone...
 
Me too, I think when it's first person you really get to know the character and feel their emotions. It's fun to get in their world and escape your own for a while. :)
 
It depends on the genre, I generally like first person but if I've noticed that when I read murder/mystery novels that are somewhat graphic the author frequently uses 3rd person for that character...who wants to get inside a serial killers head!
 
first person is cool but i think that it takes true talent to write in third person and trying to describe the character and they dont explain everything... does that make sense?
 
3rd person.

But I don't mind 1st person, for example, The Outsiders was a really good one. I remember reading that one when I was in grade 8 or something xD
 
First person Because 3rd person books are gay....actually books period r gay -_-
 
i like 1st person. i like hearing it from the own characters perspective
