Do you not realize the abortion "debate" is what the founders wanted to prevent?

Both sides are never going to agree. That's why we are supposed to follow the rule of law, not the will of the majority. If the federal government stayed out of social issues altogether people could just live in states that suited them accordingly, instead of both sides trying to claim the majority to get their way.
Why should a locality that is prominently pro-life have to submit to the federal government, or the opposite? It doesn't make any sense.
Race card as usual. Please read the 13th and 14th amendments

Not the will of the majority? So you don't believe in democracy? The law in a democracy should both be a living, breathing, changing set of documents, and must reflect the will of the people. Helicopter man doesn't believe in democracy.

I completely agree. No matter anyone's position on the debate, the fed has no reason or right to get involved. The tenth amendment stated clearly that the right belonged to the states or the people.
