Groups of boys walking together, swearing, drinking, shouting at each other (when in fact the other boy is just next to him), urinating outside, it is just so repulsive and intimidating. Why has gang culture become such a norm. You see the younger boys just copying the older lots too!
I mean is it because their parents do not guide them well or just rap music? We have few gangs like that round our area, no body says any thing to them and just allows them to be. Mind you, our area is full of elderly loving neighbours as well as the young.
Since we have moved here, the boys are always there. My husband has a huge problem with this, as they urinate, drink and shout so loud and speak dirty that we can hear them from our house.
My husband has approached them often, but they still return. He always calls anti social behaviour team but they really don't make a difference. I do not like my husband approaching them, for his own safety, you never know they most likely will have guns/knives with them.
He has explained to them that there are few elderly people living here, allow them to feel safe as when they are coming and going out they do not feel comfortable seeing you here. And disguting words used, one should not do so this publicly! (They say things like how they did things with women etc) No shame. As to any civilised person these things sholud be between the partners.
Surely, being educated is more of a good thing than broken, slang english?
I tell my husband to let it be as I don't want them to have a hatred feeling towards him as well us us. I have a 10 month old baby, I like to take him out etc, and want to feel safe too. Last time he approached them the, conversation got very heated. He always goes on his own to tell them to be less noisy or to move away from here and there are around 8 or more boys always.
I mean, what can be done? (Apart from moving away,lol) which we have intended to do soon. Have you experienced any thing of such?
Additional info. There was another group of boys around after my husband explained to them not to come here any more, they have stopped coming but since they stopped a new group have started to come! And they do not listen. They say we are going, my husband comes back home looks out the window they are back.
Do these boys not realise how awful they look? Really shameful. Trousers coming off, huge necklace
