Do you need your parent's approval to plead not guilty in court if you're under 18?

I was wrongly accused of a speeding ticket and i was just wondering if my mom had to agree in court that i wasn't guilty. because i wouldn't think she would since she wasn't there and didn't know what happened.
well if the cop doesn't have proof the judge should drop the charges because the cop refused to show me the radar gun. But still.. my questionn is does my mom have to agree on pleading not guilty?..

Yep...it's funny...were all not guilty of speeding...your still going to get the fine and the points (which means your insurance WILL go up) Pleading not guilty without a lawyer (which is guaranteed to be more than the fine in the first place.) is just asking to piss off the judge. Assuming the cop shows up to testify against you, you will lose, if you happen to get a REAL nice judge, he/she MIGHT waive the points on your license, but that's the best outcome you can hope for...

It'll play out like this:

Judge: how do you plead?
You: Not guilty your honor
Judge: State call you witness
Proc: State calls Officer dough-nut to the stand
Proc: Officer dough-nut, are you a cop? Did you record the defendant on radar?
OD: Yes, I am a cop, and yes I clocked miss daisy doing 75 in a 25 mph school zone!!!
Proc: no further questions

Judge: Miss daisy...do you have anything to say before I reach my verdict? Oh never mind, OD always tells the truth, I fine you $125 dollars plus $95 dollars court costs, and you get 3 points. BANG...goes the gavel.

Should have just paid the ticket...would have saved $95 bucks in court costs.
