Yes it requires the smartphone data plan of $30. Once this phone is purchased the plan is automatically added. The phone cannot function without internet at all. It is connect to the internet the whole time the phone is on.
i was thinking about getting a my touch 3G but i dont want internet and i wanna know if you need the data plan or if all you need it for is the internet plz tell me what will be limited if i dont get it
