do you need access to internet to download apps on nokia nuron?

I am planning to get the Nokia Nuron for T-Mobile. I am not planning on getting internet for it since it's pretty much the only smart/touch phone that doesn't require 3G to run. I want to download apps and games/apps to my [future] Nuron, but I am wondering if you need the internet to download the games/apps.
