I am filing charges of harassment against my fiance's ex wife for repeatedly calling me, and leaving outrageously offensive messages on my machine. I spoke to an officer and the ball is already rolling but i am wondering if it is necessary to hire a lawyer, or is this something easy enough to do myself. I have numerous recordings off of my answering machine (over an hours worth) and my phone bill with all the times she's called, and i know she is on probation for something similar, and has ANOTHER harassment case coming up this month from someone else. Does anyone know what the best thing to do is?
