Do you need a good credit score to get a sprint contract?

They do check credit scores but you can get a contract you just might have to pay a security deposit. With a credit score of 610 you might be good to go without a deposit but if they charge you anything I don't see it being over 50 bucks.
 
It's very likely you won't have a problem as long as you don't have a poor history with Sprint.

Other than making sure you don't owe them money, they don't check credit history.
I'm sure they didn't check mine before letting me walk out with a phone and plan.
