The bible talks about receiving a reward in heaven for good works. I know we are not supposed to blow a horn to boast of our good deeds, or do them for our ego or the approval of man. I almost never tell anyone when God prompts me to do something kind or generous. I believe the bible says you could lose your reward that way.
But sometimes I feel like sharing it because it was such a cool experience that I was happy to be part of, or God showed me something through the experience. If you do some kind or generous act, is it okay to share it with your spouse, family, etc.?
I'm not interested in hearing any bashing on religion, so if you write something like that I'll just hide your response.
