17Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

18For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

19Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

20For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

21Ye have heard that it was said of them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment:

22But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the coun

there is so much comfusion and misinformation taught in todays church about the law.

Someone says "follow the commands of God" and the whole church screams 'legalism!' yet Jesus continually pointed His followers to the Torah and commands of God- every time he said the word 'scriptures' he was referring to the Torah which he taught and walked out perfectly.

Legalism is living under the law with the motivation that the law brings righteousness, it is holding others under the law and lacking love. The pharisees did this and continued to add to the law in order to keep control and establish their own order.

Rebellion is rejecting the law, claiming love and grace (which why does one need grace if the law is not valid??) , claiming God's blessings but refusing to walk in obedience.

True love- as Jesus said- IF you love Him you will obey His commandments- the commandments of God are instructions on HOW to love God and love your neighbor, obedience , motivated by love is what God calls us to, obeying the commands of God, not because they bring salvation, they were NEVER designed for that, but because we love Him and trust that He knows best how to keep us clean, sanctified, set apart and blessed in this life.

It is amazing how many Christians today reject the laws of God but hold a strict and judgemental law over the unbeliever. How often are the rebukes, corrections and warnings in the Bible directed to the unbeliever?? never- those things were directed towards the church- to those who called themselves by His name.

Man cannot live by bread alone but by EVERY word that proceeds out of the mouth of God- Jesus did not speak or bring anything new into the picture- He constantly pointed to , referred to , clarified, reiterated, made clear the importance of the Torah and He walked out God's perfect Torah instructions perfectly- those that claim to be following Him and call themselves after His name should be walking the same walk.

You do realize that Christ was sent to the Jews first?
When they rejected him, he went out to the Gentiles.
He fulfilled the law on the cross.
Your interpretation is sort of whacked.

No. And most people don't. It's a myth that there were 10 commandments; the real number is (I think) 614. There weren't 604 that were kinda important and only 10 that you had to really worry about. Go through Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuter-however-you-spell-it; they're in there.

Not by the Law, for he who lives by the law will by the law be jugded, not me boy, I'm under grace, under the blood of the passover lamb.

Jesus said that He idnt come to abolish the Law, and that anyone that did and taught that way, would be small in the kingdom . Paul also observed the Law and even took a Nazerite vow using the formula from the book of Numbers, which is in the Law (Torah)

I live by the Giver of the law, thereby, living according to it, but not under it.
