Do you listen to music while reading your written story?

I love listening to music when I read/write. For me it helps me bring the story to life and get my imagination going even more. I don't know why, but it just does.

I'm writing a novel, and sometimes when I finish a chapter, I turn on instrumental music and listen to it while reading, to try and set the mood for the scene. So I could picture it better.

yeah. i listen specific for each chapter or scene i write. i like to use the song Lilium for scary or sad parts.

Yes, but I try not to, because the ones with lyrics heavily influence what I write. You know that song "Animal I Have Become"? I wrote a short comic about that song, it was cool, but I'm not doing it again.
