I do so much for others
Yet they never seem to see
Through all of my pretending
To what’s inside of me

Misunderstood and lonely
Small and scared and shy
Did they ever stop to question?
Did they ever wonder why?

There’re reasons for all I do
And even if it’s hard
You’ve got to stop, look closer
Examine every single shard

Used to be caged up
Retreating to safety within
Now I’ve found my wings
And can rise above the din

To those who have helped me
Who made me feel safe and loved
Thank you, thank you, thank you
You’re godsends from above
 
Wow,honestly this is one of the best poems i've ever heard in my life,this touches me alot and relates to a miserable person life and everyone taking the glory and not understanding how the miserable person feels

This is an amazing poem,hands down,you deserve lots of credit and thanks for this touching poem.
