People are always surprised that they made it through a horrible storm
The only mark it made is cuts and bruises,
but the regret of not holding on harder then you did
hurts more then your deepest cut
and as you sit in the rubble of your life
its your choose to either rebuild and get help or sit there and die,
But in the end giving up all control you have left no matter how scary will not show failure ,
But show your ready to move on
When your that far gone there’s nothing to lose,
Even though the storm came with out you asking you lived through it for a reason
You held on,
And now someone is going to come and take you home,
There going to help you help yourself
There going to make the cuts stop bleeding
There going to give you hope that the storm did not take everything you had away,
And there’re not going to give up on you,
Because u held on
Even when the wind told u to let go.

You have a lot of great thoughts! But, this seems more like a motivational speech. While it is uplifting and well written, I don't feel that it has a real poetry vibe. If you want to make it more like poetry, make the lines less like lengthy sentences and more like flowing phrases. But, if I were you, I would not change it one little bit. You have a great talent for motivational speaking!!! :) Hope this was at least a little helpful!

Well, this to me is a narrative story not a poem. You really need to read published poets poetry to know what a poem is to write poems. this is not how a poem is constructed. You need a spell check, to know the difference between there and their sentence structure, punctuation, subject/verb agreement, a subject that needs a verb to complete your thought, honestly you need to rewrite it. I'm sorry if I seem harsh. I don't mean to be. but if you aren't told what is wrong you can't correct it and become a better poet. I have had the same said to me so I know what am talking about. I'm just sharing what I learned with you, okay?
