Lol, we only eat strictly seafood on Christmas Eve and leaving shoes on the table apparently is very unlucky. I think it's a myth that has been passed down for generations in my family so kids don't put shoes on the table. My mother still has a hissy fit if I out a new pair a shoes in a shoe box on the table! LOL!
