Do you like Ford more than Chevy or vise versa? why?

The majority of it is personal preference. That being said, I prefer Chevrolet for a number of reasons. The first is Fords are butt ugly (debatable, but not with me). The second is that GM parts are more universal and the repairs are cheaper, and I have always found them more reliable. This is a hotly debated point among those who don't work on cars, but among us technicians, the vast majority will thank Ford on a daily basis for keeping us working. There is also more performance potential in Chevrolets. Fords have weak engine blocks, and poor head design to state a few reasons.
 
Bias: I drive a Ford.

Up until recently Ford has had the most horrible quality interiors. My mustang has a plastic dash and a rubber steering wheel and was equipped from the factory with a radio that could not even play mp3 cds and only had a very small led display. Now that Ford is stepping up their interior I think they are going to become known as the "better" one but it's all relative to people own opinions. Ford's new Fusion Hybrid is a truly amazing car and solely because of it I decided to buy stock in Ford Motor Co.
 
after driving hard for 40 yrs an dworking on cars longer fords have let me down the least easy to do a little test drive thro any shops parking lot count or look at what cars there waitng to be worked on bet you dont see many fords as you do others ive drove a lot of chevy's and ive broken every one iv efound two types that hold up under hard driving that ford or nissan.. i got 40 yrs of junk cars to prove it try my test drive thru a couple shops parking lots you wil see what i mean bet you can use one hand to count fords and might need both hands an d yourtoes to count the others
