I was talking to a neighbor the other day and we couldn't agree on this. We didn't disagree, as we both feel that every parent has the right to choose what's best for their child when being responsible parents, we just didn't reach the same conclusion. I have a 10yr old son, while her son is 12. She doesn't let him play video games of any kind because she feels they're too influential. However, he does watch tv- usually HBO or something like that. I do let my son play video games and he watches tv also, but he only watches Nick or Cartoon Network (his choice).
