I was clueless about bowls, so i had a cute little goldfish in a bowl for about a year. Then I found out they needed atleast 29 gallon tanks but temporarily i thought i would put him in a ten gallon. I cycled the tank. Then i slowly put him in by taking a little bit of water out and adding some in to a little baggie. Then he went in and stood still for awhile. After that he swam around and looked SO happy. He was swimming back and forth like no tomorrow. I almost cried, i had a huge attachment to this fish. Then i came back from school and he was fine. (btw i had a filter) The next day i came back and he was dead.
