"what the gay?"
I saw a commercial on television telling people not to use expressions like that because it hurts people. But it has nothing to do with homosexuals! Here is how it got started... 7 junior high friends were skipping school one day, watching TV. One said, "What did that guy just say? And another said stuttering, "He said what the gay." They all thought it was funny and it became a running joke. We kept on saying it because it was like cussing, but didn't sound so bad. A couple of years later it was allover the Country...
