Do you know to do this if your Toyota or any car's gas pedal sticks and accelerates?

First of all any car has potential to stick if the car allows the gas pedal to reach the floor. it might not stick the first time but maybe the 100th time. I had a ford ranger pick up truck that if you step on the gas pedal to the ground it would stick and accelerate very fast and the breaks wouldnt work. Reason my truck allowed the gas pedal to reach the floor is because my trans was slipping and when at a stop i stepped on the pedal to the ground to go again. It happened twice. this what happened:
1.)Once the gas pedal stuck the car began accelerating very fast 0-80mph in 10 seconds. I was dodging cars going threw red lights. my friend in passenger seat was ready to jump out.

2. When stepping on the break the breaks did not work they were stiff and immovable.

3.I tried throwing the car in park-which didnt work but made grinding gears noise. i was unaware of any emergency break in my car

4. What worked was is i bent down and lifted the gas pedal up with my hand then i was able to break. Then everything was good.

5.I put 2 floor mats under the gas pedal to prevent from sticking again. it happened one other time and did the same thing lifting the gas pedal by hand.My friends called my truck the "Danger Ranger"

Toyota said the problem isnt electrical and is the same problem i had.
***So if your car sticks make sure you avoid cars and pull the gas pedal up with your hand then break***
Toyota problem must be the gas pedal is allowed to reach the floor farther than other cars.
Has anyone else have this problem?
@ answer-I tried putting it in neurtal but the stick dont move. Turning the engine off, which most cars keys wouldnt come out, but if you did the car steering would lock up and you would have no control of where you are going. your best bet is to avoid cars and lift the gas pedal by hand and then break.
