okayy, well my step dad used to beat my sister, he smokes pot, and does heroin.. if i called the cops on himm, do you know how many years he would get??
 
Im sorry that you have to be exposed to this shit.
Honey its up to the judge. it would be better if he got caught with drugs on him. All the best. God Bless YoU
 
If you can get the cops over there with the heroin on him, possession of more than 100 grams is a minimum mandatory sentence of 5 years in federal prison.

Weed's a misdemeanor, he probably won't get much for that unless he's got a lot.

Depending on how bad the beatings were, he could be looking at felony assault. If convicted on all charges, 7 or 8 years is about right.
 
If he has the heroin and pot in possession and prove he beat your sister, that is going to be a LOT of time. My guess, at least 7 years
