Do you know of snakes that whine like puppies?

I've searched the Internet, and I haven't found anything(stress on anything) that relates to this. I have a children's python, and recently, we took him upstairs to the bath tub while cleaning out his cage, so he could soak for a bit. He started whining like a puppy once he went in the water, and didn't stop until he was back in his cage. Any ideas as to HOW he whines?
 
Respiratory infection it sounds like if its a WHINE and not a HISS.

A hiss can be just because hes agitated, allot of snakes do that. A Whine comes from when hes breathing heavily and he has a respiratory infection, that's what it could be anyways. I'm not a vet and I can't actually hear the sound myself so there's no way of telling. If you start to hear this whine/nasal sound when hes just breathing normally, get him to a Vet ASAP.
