Do you know any great movies (such as Dead poets Society, Instinct, Sweet November) ?

I am searching for great movies like these, but as I am not english I don't know many titles. I am searching for movies that leave an impression on you, that leave a bliss on you... Not necessarily with the same actors. I just like movies in witch the protagonists have come up with an extraordinary philosophy of life (Sweet November), of mad geniuses (Anthony Hopkins, Instinct, Silence of the Lamps), or teachers with extraordinary attitudes (dead poets, good will hunting) Thanks in advance for your help!
 
Try the movie Thirteen.
Its about a teen girl, shes 13, and she gets into drugs really bad with her friend.. the end is amazing.. well the entire thing is. I dont want to spoil it for you.
Its not a widely known movie but its amazing.

Evan Rachel Wood plays the girl, and Holly Hunter plays her mom.
