Do you know any funny films?

Strangely enough I was watching this years ago and my then 11 year old brother- a rather sensitive soul who had been horrified by the face melting in Raiders of the Lost Ark- came in, started to watch it and began roaring with laughter at it.

Maybe that's the reaction you're supposed to have???

Superbad
Forgetting Sarah Marshall
Dude wheres my car?
Knocked up
Step Brothers
Old school
Meet the parents
Dodgeball
Drillbit Taylor
Pineapple Express
The 40 year old virgin
Grandmas house
Role Models
Dead man on campus
Harold and Kumar go to white castle
Road trip
School of rock
Waiting
Click
Happy Gilmore

All of the above are pretty good comedies and should give you a few laughs

Thanks, I will let you know when I finally get round to picking one. Sadly I've got work I must do before I can have a break :( It'll all be worth it in the end though.

And yes I've seen Mean Girls and a couple of others on that list. Whenever I watch it I find it hard to take the dad seriously as he will always be the janitor from Scrubs to me :D

yeah good ol' neil flynn!! definitely the best character in it, other than Mr Braff of course.
so what you studying to deserve such a break? ;)

A Levels. Lots of homework and revision and a bit of coursework. And if I spread the films out to the end of May it's only 2 hours less than once a week ;):D

I concur

"Crime?"

"Stampeding cattle."

"That's not so bad."

"Through the Vatican?"

"Kinky........"

Add The Committments.

Good story

Great music

Great comic lines

"We're not travelling in that heap of shit!"

"Ahhh Buddy Holly's last worRAB....."

Morning clever chick,

I am slightly older than you, but these 2 brit flicks are fab. I find the sense of humor hilarious:D:D

Saving Grace (with Brenda Blethyn)

Black Ball (with Paul Kaye)

or.....

27 Dresses and How to lose a guy in 10 days (for a chick flick film)

Have fun:)

I would put this at the top of the list. It's a much more intelligent film than people might think - it gets big laughs whilst explaining economic theory and whilst sending up institutional racism. My son (who's around the OP's age) was quite shocked by the use of the "n-word" in what appears to be a feel-good comedy.
