Do you judge people on how shy they are?

I have just been wondering if anyone judges shy people when they first meet them.. Like, I am shy, but not around friends and family. For instance, if someone that didn't really know me saw how I acted around my friends, they'd probably have a heart attack(seriously!!)

I am also VERYYY shy.. And people do judge me. but they need to realize that if you hang around me and get to know me i wontt be shy.

I used to be the same way, but many people ended up getting the impression that I was real stuck up. People always tell me "Oh, I thought you were a total b---h when I met you!"

I'm shy myself, and can't really hold a convo without someone being a really close friend.
I tend to like shy people more because of it... we all tend to surround ourselves with people that are like us.
So if I judge in a positive way, I'm guessing outgoing people are turned off by shy people.
A sad thing in life.

Unfortunately, it's in our nature to make judgements on people...

Actually, psychologists say that people make judgements on others withing 7-9 seconds of meeting someone...

That's why they say first impressions are very important...

It also depends on what context your asking your questions. If you're going in for a job interview you might want to brush up on the shyness beforehand. If you're meeting new people that you know that you'll see again in the future than no big deal. Certain people grab your attention immediately while other's take longer before you start to like them.
