Do you judge others by what football team they support?

As a Blue i admit to showing some caution whenever someone tells me they support United, as i'm weary of the response i'd receive if i told them i was a Blue. Sometimes i've been proved right, others i've been proved wrong.

I've since come to learn that that person could have supported ANY football team and still acted like a c-o-c-k. So does football rivalry give you the right to automatically judge a person?
Actually Mira, i think you'll find i've criticised Utd fans in the past once they have judged ME first.

But it's not a mature response and i should have gone down the "Whatever mate" route instead. If anything it sounds like you are defending the right to criticise others.

Well, whatever makes you happy.
Exactly right Dylan. I think all those who call themselves 'football fans' usually keep their 'alligiences' hidden as it's not the driving factor in which people the associate with, and obviously for reasons we both touched upon. I've known Everton fans who've turned sour towards me once they asked who i supported but, meh.

I fell sorry for the ones that do. I've got United mates, a United supporting boss and United supporting members of my family. We keep football and our own personal relationships seperate.
I criticise the club Mira. I attacked the fans when they attacked me for attacking their club. But as i said, i'm not bothering with doing that anymore and admit i could have taken the more mature route but didn't.

It's strictly the clubs from here on in.
