Do you judge moms who drink while pregnant?

Some doctors say it is okay to drink a glass of wine a day. Other doctors say fetal alcohol syndrome affect 0.2-2.0 out of 1000 live births and to not drink at all. It is unknown the amount of alcohol or the time frame to which it could cause damage. About 50% of women admit to using alcohol during pregnancy. So my questions to you are.... how do you feel about moderate drinking? Do you judge those who do?

Please no judging others. Honest opinions only pls.
When I say no judging others I mean no bashing other people who answer. Thank you

I'm not sure what doctors are saying it's OK to drink daily because continuously exposing your baby to alcohol is deadly. It's less harmful to drink socially occasionally but remember that your baby gets a lot more drunk than you, but as long as it's not too often it won't actually affect the baby's development, but even a little bit every day causes foetal alcohol syndrome. Personally I didn't drink, but I understand that a pregnancy is a long time and occasionally deviating from your pregnancy routine can be benificial sometimes. So no. Not really. But I do wonder about women who drink "moderately" every day. These facts have been known for a long time now and are included in almost all pregnancy books. And recent studies have shown foetal alcohol syndrome to be a lot more prevalent than what they thought before, and have reccommended a total alcohol ban. It always amazes me that people bash heroin users that are pregnant, yet alcohol for unborn foetuses is so much more dangerous it's not funny. Especially mothers using pharmaceutical-grade morphine as very little gets through the placenta or breastmilk. However, during childbirth when the baby needs to be fully functional to breathe and feed, morphine and pethidine can be deadly. Even with doctors refusing it to the mother 3 hours before they think the baby will be born. Yet women still use it during childbirth.

I say why risk it? Why endanger your baby's health, even his life, just so you can have your alcohol? Seems selfish, and it can't be good parenting. That's just my opinion though.
