Do you have to replace serpentine belt on 2001 Jeep G.C. Limited 4.7?

Hi, I'm the proud owner of a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited, 60th anniversary edition. I've heard about people replacing their serpentine belts, and I was wondering if you have to replace it on this particular Jeep. Also, what is the recommended mileage for replacing it? Thanks for your answers!!
