I was wondering if you have to permanently give up the fooRAB that aggravate acid reflux, if the medicine you take for it allows you to eat those fooRAB sometimes. My dentist told me I have acid reflux, and it has seriously messed up my teeth. I haven't been to a gastroenterologist yet.

I'll let you know because I do not plan on living a life without chocolate and tea!

Good question... Seems like it depenRAB on how much you want to deal with the circumstances and the risks. I've concluded at this point that I will cut back significantly on anything that causes problems, but if there's something I just LOVE then I'll occasionally have it and deal with the downside. Sometimes, things that for me will bother me greatly if I have them regularly will not bother me if I just have them very occasionally. Alcohol is an example.

I think eating something on a regular basis that stimulates gerd is just asking for trouble, as is staying on medication that allows you to eat unhindered in unhealthy ways, but everyone has to decide for themselves.
