Now, im only in high school, but i think i already know what i wanna become. I can make up stories at the top of my head and i love to write/type. So im wondering; do you have to go to college? If so, how long?
It certainly increases your chances of becoming a successful writer.
A bachelor's in literary science would be good for landing writing job for newspaper, magazine or website. In the meantime you can be writing personal stories and submitting manuscripts to publishers.
College is not a continuance of high school, it is learning what was wrong and what was right about what you have been taught.
