to be regarded as a true capitalist and a whining, free-loading liberal douche to be regarded as a democrat?

when did it happen?

is it possible to be a hard-working person who doesnt try and shove his "family values" and other christian views down everyone`s throat? and be a firm believer in person`s personal freedom for to be and believe in whatever as long as it isnt hurting anyone AND not live off of taxes and free handouts?
 
Most of the war mongering Bible thumping people who consider themselves conservative, don't even realize that they benefit from the very programs the Govt provides for them.

People are Republican and Democrat for a variety of reasons. And Republican is not synonymous with Conservative any more than Democrat is synonymous with Liberal.
