Do you have to add chemicals for a fish less cycling?

I am in the process of fish less cycling in a 20 gallon tank. I was wondering do have high ammonia do you have to add chemicals or can you just do something else if you can what is it please? I have some goldfish can i put some in the 20 gallon it has been running for 8 days now so can i add them to the 20 gallon tank to add ammonia since they make so much? thanks for all your answers!!!!!!!!
