married? so I looked in my own and found that my 1st & 2nd grade teachers were married in 1948 & 49 which I kind of expected. And I know there were odd situations where there was a married teacher in the 1800's. And widows with children were okay in the 1910's - at least one being a great aunt of mine.
But can people dig in some old baby books or year books and come up some dates when they found several teachers with Mrs. on their name - don't know if it will be just before or at WWII or as far back as WWI, which is our real area of interest and the midwest in the USA.
