Do you have good manners or tact?

When you see something weird, unusual, or shocking, do you mention it to people you know or to the offender.

BQ Which gender is more polite?
Like when I see Fex's big b00bs in her avatar.

I believe that it's rude and redundant to point out something weird or unusual about a person, unless it's a compliment. For instance, I have to use a walking stick to get around, and I wear a hat because my eyes are sensitive to strong light. I have decorated both the stick and the hat to my taste, using feathers on the hat, and leather thongs, a leather pouch, and some beads on the stick. I get a LOT of compliments on both items. which I enjoy. Occasionally a very young child will ask me about my stick, in which case I explain that one of my knees is very bad because I used to play tackle football when I was a little girl, and I hurt it badly and didn't tell my parents. I didn't tell them because I would have been in trouble for playing football again. At any rate, I permanently injured my knee, and now I have to use a stick or cane. It's rude of the child to ask, but generally I let the parent take care of that. If anyone who is old enough to be on the internet unsupervised asks me, though, I generally give them a long stare, and say "how RUDE".

How do you know they're mine?...

Edit - Stef, the reason I put that pic up is because I promised an user here that I would. This user... said when he/she saw my black frock pic and all she/she(but my guess it's a he) thought was - boobs. I said, nooo... those aren't boobs; I'll show you boobs if you want to see boobs. It just took me a while to get that pic up. It wasn't on my priority list, if you know what I'm sayin'... ;-)

It isn't bad manners to point out the truth to people. If they can't handle the heat, they need to get out of the kitchen.

BQ: Neither.
