Do you have a natural talent for music?

Does your music come naturally to you? Have you found your musical talents were there, you just "got it", or did you have to struggle with your voice, or instrument to understand how to use it/them?

Natural talent is described as "Intellectual ability, natural or acquired; mental endowment or capacity; skill in accomplishing; a special gift, particularly in business, art, or the like; faculty" - dictionary.com

"Natural Talent is a pre-disposition in the mind and the body, to do the right thing. When a person who has natural talent for singing hears someone sing, their body and mind "know" what that person is doing to get that sound. And their body/mind knows how to do it too, or how to begin moving in that direction. (They don't have to know this consciously, that is "know what they know, and how they know it, they just "know"). Some people come in for lessons, and they "tend" to do everything right, from sitting comfortably with the instrument, to positioning and using the fingers. How long did it take you to figure out you did or did NOT have natural talent?
 
Well, alll my life I have been able to sing and have loved every second, of it, i think that is natural talent, i have never had to work for my voice and have been singing since, ...b4 i talked! though i cant play an instrument, i have won numerous comps in singing and want to be a professional.
 
No...but my bf does! He's self taught, and has been playing the bass guitar for about 5 years now...I'm proud of him. I've tried learning drums...but I just don't have rhythm.
 
You really don't think about it untill one day you go...woa I do this really well, or woa...I'd better save the world and quit ^_^
