Senators are negotiating on Senator Max Baucus' Obama Care 6.0 proposal and it hasn't even been written yet.

Of course, to state the obvious, the fact that they're negotiating on something that hasn't been written means no one has read it yet either.

And, to add even more insult to injury, it's now clear they have no intention of letting you read it.

You read that right. On an almost straight party-line vote, Democrats in the Senate Finance Committee squashed an amendment by Senator Jim Bunning that would have required Baucus' ObamaCare bill to be posted on the Internet - for all Americans to read - for 72 hours prior to the Committee voting on it.

Not only that. Bunning's amendment also called for requiring the non-partisan Congressional Budget Office's official tally of how much Baucus' ObamaCare 6.0 will cost the American people and what the real impact will be on health costs to be released before the it was voted on.

It's as plain as the nose on your face.

They're leaving the door wide-open to pass Baucus' ObamaCare 6.0 proposal in the dead of night... under the cover of darkness... without even telling you and other concerned Americans what it will cost and how it will affect your health care. TRULY DISGUSTING
 
Of course they have read it, what they are doing now is adding and subtracting meaning going through it with a fine tooth comb there are four other bills as well so melting them together for a bipartisan agreement would be nice, but seems nobody wants to agree all together on anything.What scares me is some are going against very important parts of this bill and their reasons unknown to us are political or because of insurance supporters. It really bothers me anyone in congress would sway away from whats most important being the American people just to feather their own nest or worried about their own political standing. Remember all rep and dem agree we have to reform health care that's not an option here and they agree on 80% of the proposed bill. Ok we should really pay attention to why those against the public option are really Truly against it? Even Senator Max Baucus' has received over 4 mil in the past from insurance company supporters, so that explains why his plan so far has no public option. Truth is the Public option is designed to keep cost down for all helping all those without ins to have it through programs that already exist and can simply be broadened. Makes alot of sense to me build on what we already have instead of starting some kinda program from scratch.But remember it's only an option and this option will create many other options , personally only have one option currently.My lil sis cant even get on ins because of a pre-existing condition from way back. I am sure there are so many in this situation as well. many American's are just scared to death of change period, talk to anyone from the UK or even Canada they actually are very happy with what they have and feel sorry for us. If we just had a little faith we could end up with a better deal than them even. If people just had faith then they may think differantly, if we have a Bill that isn't costing a dime more twards the deficate , and it isn't a government takeover which some want you to believe, then we as a people have everything to gain and nothing to loose here right? I am an independant but on this issue I do believe our President means well his dirrection is soley because he wants whats best for all american's, then you have so many negitive people throwing lie's at us, like death panels, or a government takeover ? Think about why are they saying this, they are trying to scare all us average people, not for the false reasons you think of. I know alot will hate what I have said and it's ok I just pray a few try to look at this entire issue without being so quick to judge what the President is trying to do here.
 
Obama transparency so transparent it does not exist. You do not need to read it. This will be explained at payment time. All will be said this is not covered under the plan you will have to pay for it yourself.
 
Hate to break it to you but we have a representative democracy and congress is not required to let YOU read any bills or to hold a national referendum on it. Most people are not lawyers and don't understand all the legalese in the bills, anyway.
