I despise eating out! I hate the way that filth seems to permeate everything: the crusty, half-washed utensils, the soggy, stained menus, the crumb-sprinkled tables. I hate the loud strangers and their screaming kids. I hate the overpriced food. From Dairy Queen to Cracker Barrel, it's all the same. I've never been in a fancy restaurant, but I know I would hate it too, if only because of the strangers.
For me, eating is ideally something to be enjoyed either in secure privacy or with people I really, really like -- public dining is just an occasional, bitter necessity. Does anybody else feel this way, or am I just batcrap insane?
