Or don't know what to do in life? I was planning on joining the Army after high school because I relly don't what to do in life yet. Plus I am going to college but Im not a very brilliant guy to do something big as a carrer in the future.
I'm sure you will find out what you want to do in life, just give it some time.
I don't think that joining the army is going to help you figure that out. Unless the military is what you really want to do, if you are willing to risk your life over it.
You don't have to be "brilliant" to have a career there's a career out there for everyone you just have to find it.
I think joining the army would be an excellent thing to do. Being a member of the U.S. army is a very honorable thing. You would learn a lot and have special benefits the rest of your life!
I did one semester of college before I joined the Army back in January, 2001. I say this with as much respect as I can. My intentions are not to offend anyone in the military.
Most of the people I dealt with in the military seemed to have experienced a stunting of emotional growth. There is so much growing up to be done after high school, and it seems as though many of the people I dealt with (who entered straight out of high school) didn't finish that portion of the growth process.
Joining the military at any point in your life is a choice that involves many considerations. You are the only one who knows whether or not it is a good or bad choice.
It's ultimately up to you, but I would advise you to take a year off and just have some fun. You've got a long time to figure life out, but if you think it's a pressing issue, try college. The faculty adviser can help you figure out a life path.
You have to be physically and mentally ready. I dont think you should do anything just to do it. Do your research on it and really weigh your options. Ups and downs of the army. Talk to a recruiter and get some ideas and really see if the army is right for you. Recruiters can tell you anything but ask questions. Good Luck hun.
