Do you guys think Mtv "Skins" is a bit overexaggerated?

I'm 16 and I like the show a lot but i'm just going to speak my mind sometimes I just feel offended by this show. Yeah, teenager do drugs,have sex, and go to parties but not all teenagers do that. To be honest I sometimes find the show an embarrassment to are generation it's like Mtv making seem like that's what most teenager when actually a lot of teenager don't (more than you think). The show is not really related to me or any other teenager I know. Yes I had did a couple drugs before and took a few sips of alcohol before but not to the extreme as the show perceives it as. And I also don't really understand what Mtv is trying to get at what I mean is that how can they have shows like 16 &pregnant/Teen Mom that shows the struggle of teenagers and try to prevent teenaged pregnancies nd then you have a show like "Skins" that is the total opposite of perception of 16 and pregnant/Teen Mom.Idk what do you guys think?
