Do you go through book phases?

This inquiry was inspired by someone who posted
a question about music phases. I go through book
phases. all the time. Lots of professional texts
when I'm upgrading my skills, lots of online reading
when I'm doing research, lots of children's books
when I'm with kids. lots of nonfiction when a
subject becomes an obsession, lots of short stories
when time becomes an issue, and lots of classics
after watching just one Jane Austen movie.
