Do You Get Paid in Boot Camp?

yes you do get paid but you do not have access to the acount ...If you are married and have a joint account with your SPOUSE then..they can use the money ..it comes in about 4-6 weeks...prob arond 250.to start .then reg pay.they do deduct for your food ,living, and uniforms,

Yes you get paid while in boot camp, and yes you get paid for the rank you are when you go. When I was in Navy boot camp they charged me for my whole sea bag. I do not know if the do this now or not. When I went into the Army I did not get charged for uniforms there.

pay accrues from day one although it can take anywhere from 4 to 13 weeks before you actually get anything deposited. there are one time charges of around $250 to pay for things you have to buy when you get there and the uniform allowance does not cover the entire cost of the uniforms that you are issued.

you are paid according to your paygrade but cannot wear the stripes of that paygrade until you complete Basic/boot camp.

yes, and yes

of course, you don't get access to your accounts while you're in, and you have a depreciated amount given to you to pay for training and gear

Yes, and they do not charge for uniforms. I have never been charged for any uniforms. If you enlist as an E-3 you get paid as an E-3, but you do not put the strips on till just before you graduate.
