In the USMC after you have passed your initial drug test at meps when you do your physical, the day you ship out and actually go to boot camp will they drug test you again?
I was told I would be going to meps then take a bus from their to MCRD, so will they drug test me at meps that morning or at MCRD that day? Do they test for anti-depressants?
...Please nothing about the drugs them selves and how i shouldn't blah blah blah, please just answer the question or don't answer at all.

Were any of you actually drug tested again when you actually shipped off?
Air Force guy when did they actually drug test you? Was it the day you shipped off, or like, well I was going to say a month or two into training but Air Force training only lasts like a week or two right? sorry

Thanks Frog. I'm not too worried, I still have a couple weeks until I ship off. Everything should be out by then. So between the time you did your physical and first drug test and the time you went to boot camp you were not drug tested again?
Jason L my depression stems from my home life... I am not mentally ill... If i am in the Marines i will not be in my home life, and will not be depressed.
War, shooting and killing people and blowing stuff up really doesn't bother me at all. I have been around that and much worse. it is my f'ed up child hood that makes me the perfect candidate for the marines. nothing that i see over in iraq can affect me any more than what i have already seen growing up. now if you take a suburban kid with a great wonderful loving family he is going to be shitting his pants and going crazy because he misses home. when you have someone who wants to get as far away as possible, they are going to be a great soldier because nothing will bother them. if that doesn't make sense i don't know what to tell you.
