Like so many other times in history, it seems as if humanity is once again on the throes of a change that discharges the poison that becomes embedded deep within society. In a way, it is like a second enlightenment, but one that might last longer. Either that or we destroy ourselves by killing the rainforests or something else.
Call me an optimist, but I think that it will work out. However, do you see technology being integrated into the environment to create a world where we live "the simple life" whilst being surrounded by technology? Said technology is also is so subtle it neither conflicts with the environment nor breaks people away from nature and the universe back to materialism.
There are probably some contradictions with the last statement, but I do not see it that way. What do you think about these two issues?
